Digiwise in Yerevan: at the crossroads of investors and the technology sector

Author: Elo Gaver

This autumn, Digiwise has the opportunity to visit Armenia not once, but twice. Yerevan is hosting both Gateway to Europe and Digitec. Both events bring together investors, technology experts, and entrepreneurs from around the world, offering a platform for knowledge sharing and new connections.

Held in September, Gateway to Europe unites Armenian and European angel investor networks (STAN, EBAN, BANA, AICA) that seek out and support early-stage technology startups. Lauri Antalainen, Founder of Digiwise and President of EstBAN, will represent the Estonian business angel community there and share his insights on how artificial intelligence and digitalization can accelerate the growth of startups.

In October, Digiwise will take part in Armenia’s largest technology conference, Digitec. Celebrating its 20th edition, this year’s event focuses on:

  • cutting-edge AI technologies and deep tech innovations,

  • strategies to help companies achieve global growth,

  • venture capital trends and startup funding strategies.

Lauri Antalainen, who in addition to leading EstBAN also serves on the Advisory Board of Latitude59 and has invested in more than 50 startups, will share his perspective at Digitec both as an investor and as the founder of Digiwise. In his talk, he will highlight how artificial intelligence and digitalization help companies identify inefficiencies, build competitive advantages, and prepare for international growth.

Taking the stage in Yerevan is a recognition that Digiwise is confidently moving at the intersection of investors and technology – both in Estonia and beyond.
