Tippinnovaatorite (“Top Innovators”) program’s 3rd group final event at Tallinn TV Tower: Innovative Mikskaar and Verston Eesti!

On June 12th, the final event of the 3rd group of Tippinnovaatorite took place at the Tallinn TV Tower, where Mikskaar was crowned the winner. Mikskaar is a company developing an environmentally friendly growth substrate, replacing peat with wood-based peat made from local wood industry waste.

Mikskaar’s Miksgrow solution combines environmental sustainability with precision agriculture, using real-time soil moisture measurement data to make precise irrigation and fertilization decisions.

The public’s favorite was Verston Eesti, whose goal is to become the most environmentally friendly infrastructure company in Europe. To achieve this, they are bringing more digitalization, electrification, and automation to the sector. Lauri Antalainen, a member of the Tippinnovaatorite jury, happily noted that Estonia has tremendous potential to create world-changing innovation.
