i-Con Cyprus: How to Scale Artificial Intelligence from Individual Experiments to the Enterprise Level

At the end of May, the international i-Con conference took place in Cyprus, where Digiwise participated to share practical experience on how organisations can move from isolated artificial intelligence experiments to company-wide adoption.
Lauri Antalainen spoke at the conference with a presentation titled “Scaling AI from Teams to Enterprise.” The rapidly growing technology and online business conference brought together entrepreneurs, technology experts and business process decision-makers from different countries. Lauri’s presentation focused on how companies can move from occasional and fragmented AI experiments to a deliberate and systematic implementation of artificial intelligence.
In many organisations, the use of artificial intelligence begins at the initiative of individual employees. Different tools are adopted, personal productivity gains are achieved and new ways of simplifying work are discovered. However, a comprehensive approach that connects artificial intelligence with the company’s strategy and business objectives is often missing.
The presentation explored how to turn artificial intelligence into a long-term organisational capability rather than treating it as just another tool. It also addressed organisation-wide value creation, process development and ways of applying artificial intelligence to support both competitiveness and customer value.
The goal of the i-Con conference series is to bring together companies from different technology sectors and create an environment that encourages new partnerships, ideas and business opportunities. In recent years, Cyprus has emerged as one of Europe’s fastest-growing technology hubs, and i-Con is one of the events actively supporting that development.
